The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Regional Office for Central Asia and the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Young Delegate" conference held at school number 17 of Karmana district on October 14, 2019.


As delegates pupils from 8-“A”, 9-“B” , 11-“A” forms were taken They discussed Ecological Problems and Preventing Crime Among Youth in Uzbekistan USA, England, Japan, Australia, Canada and other countries. During the conference video views on ecological themes and crimes among the youth shown.

The Young Delegate participants were supported the implementation of the Resolution of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, "On improvement of the system of spiritual, moral and physically harmonious education of young people, and increasing their education and training to a qualitatively new level", as well as the Decree "On fundamental improvement of society, the prevention of crime and crime among students, the development of the "peer-to-peer" principle, the introduction of international experience in the system of work with young people."

School pupils, who took part in the Young Delegate Conference will become future advocates for simulations and will organize Clubs at their respective localities. Simulations will help the younger generation in acquiring diplomatic, leadership and public speaking skills, increase their involvement in social life, improve learning experience, determine the future profession.

In future UNODC and the Ministry are planning to organize local conferences on a regular basis throughout the country, based on the practice of the National UN General Assembly Simulation Conference on the topic "Preventing Crime Among Youth", as well as on other relevant topics proceeding from the current socio-economic and youth problems in the regions.

Young Delegate platform will lead young people to make contributions to the development of our state, by gaining of international knowledge and experience, to grow up socially active citizens, who enhance Uzbekistan’s international standing."

The Young Delegate MUN is supported by UNODC's Education for Justice) initiative, the Central Council of the Youth Union of Karmana distrit of the Navoi region of Republic of Uzbekistan.
