Tip 1: 
Come to the exam venue with your friend just 
an hour 
before 
your speaking test. 
Tip 2: 
Take a walk around the venue, breathe deeply several 
times, take it easy and practice some topics, or simply 
enjoy talking in English with your 
friend.
Tip 3: 
Just 5 minutes before your test, say to yourself " I don't 
need to impress an examiner, and I don't need to speak 
perfectly. All I need to do is try 
to express my ideas as 
clearly as possible.

Tip 4: 
When you enter the exam room, say "Hello" by 
smiling
and 
in a nice tone of voice
. You can also say "can I take a 
seat here"
 
Tip 5: 
Remember that your examiner is 
not your enemy
. 
He/she wants you to succeed. 
Tip 6: 
• Take your examiner as a friend and enjoy talking to 
him/her.
 
• Don't overthink.

if your examiner interrupts you many 
times! 
• Sometimes, examiners may say "why" multiple times
even in some inappropriate situations. 
• Sometimes, an examiner may not fully listen to your 
answers and continuously move on to the next question 
during an examination.
