In the following article, a comparative analysis of the life and 
spiritual heritage of Abu Hafs Umar Suhrawardi, one of the great 
representatives of the sufi teaching and Oriental philosophy, the 
founder of the tariqat “suhravardiyya”, was made on the basis of 
sources. Also, the information about the work “Avorif ul-maorif” 
(Gifts of enlightenment*) by the sufi scholar is clarified.
