  1. Nutrition for lactation and pregnancy

In order to live every creators must consume with food that after digested, absorbed, and utilised it converts into nutrients and serves to act whole body part . For herbivores (ruminants, horses, rabbits ans some small animals ) food is described edible materials they can be for example grass, hay, silages, grains, forages etc.The main components of foods, animals and plants are:
The water percentage of distrubition in animals are depend on its age. The newborn animals contains 750-800 g/kg water , but this decreases approximately 500 g/kg in the mature fat animals. It is vital to the life of the organism .An animal will die more sooner if deprived of water than deprived of food. The animal get its water from three sources; drinking water, water present in its food and metabolic water.

The dry matter food is retively divided into organic and inorganic material, however in living organisms there is no high distinction.Majority organic combinations consist of mineral elements as structural components.Proteins, for example, include sulphur, and many lipids and carbohydrates contains phosporus. The main component of the dry matter of pasture grass is carbohydrate.Animal’s main energy store is in the form of lipid. The lipid content of the animal body is variable and is related to age , the older animal containing a much greater proportion than te young animal. The lipid content of living plants is relatively low that pasture ggrass, for example being 40-50 g/kg DM.In animals , the muscle, skin, hair, feather, wool, and nails consist of mainly of protein.

Food nutritent is the main source to get more lactaton and efficiency of pregnancy. Concerning with the nutritient requirements for milk production, wgich involves a conversion of nutrients on a large scale and is a considerable biochemical and physiological achievemt.Energy requirements for lactation involve an estiamte gross energy value of the milk , which may be used along with the yield to estimate the net energy requirement for milk production.
