Overview:

Learners will learn about the wide range of career options available for computer users and understand how to progress in their career



Objectives of the lesson

  • Speaking during conversation to achieve more confidence and skills

  • Learn new vocabulary and grammatical structures

  • Reading and analyzing text

  • Listen the information about IT

At the end of the lesson, students will able to:

  • Knowing present simple tense, present continuous and Stative verbs

  • Describing browser problems

  • Knowing new vocabulary about IT

Materials: Pictures (about IT), Laptop, and screen.

  • Greeting and date , checking homework, marking

(10 minutes)

  1. Warm-up.Activity 1. Icebreaker about IT (5 minutes)

T ask Ss some questions about IT .Which websites do you visit most? Which browsers do you use? What kind of devices do you use to access the internet? Ss discuss the questions.

  1. Activity 2.T asks Ss to match words to A-F in the screenshot browser below. and explain that teacher will demonstrate and students will learn. Handout №1 (10 minutes)

  2. Read task 1. Answer the questions. Handout №2 (15 minutes)

  3. Vocabulary and listening. Task 2. Name the activities. Handout № 3

(15 minutes)

  1. Learning grammar (present simple yes/no questions and short answers) Task 5. Study the example. Handout №4 (15 minutes)

  2. PRACTICE, summary and assessment:

In 2 groups divided by topic: Teacher asks and learners answer the question in task 5. (10 minutes)

  1. GIVING HOMEWORK (10 minutes)
