I am Shohruh.I am from Jizzax.I have got a big
family. There are father, mother, two brothers and a sister. I am a student.I am studying at the Tashkent information technologs of university.During that time in Uzbekistan, man teachers operated outside the law.Known a Hedge schoolmasters they taught their pupils by the hedgerows in summer and in hillside huts in winter due to a lack of buildings of their own. They manage to teach Latin and Russian well. O Without texts, masters and pupils had to realy on memory. O To prepare children for the future, uzbek parents rals their children to be independent responsible and competetiv. From infancy children in uzbek learn to separate from their parents and act brave even when they are afreid.Uzbek children soon learn that they should behave like “big boys” and “big girls” not “babies”.Americans also grow up learning that those who are “the best” will get better jobs, make more money, have bigger houses and will be able to buy more and better consumer goods . O A Uzbek children learn to be competetive with others because only a few will become the best.In sports and in school . Uzbeks want to win,to get the highest grads and the best test scores,to take home the big trophy and get into the best schools. Both boys and girls want to be on the winning team or to be the fastest runner. If a child is not talanted in a sport,he or she will probably stop playing it,as it is no fun if he or she can’t win. O When you ask on Uzbek student if he or she would rather get the best grade in the class or help his or her friend to get a better grade. He or she will tell you that they want to get the best grade. If his or her friend wants a better grade,he/she will say,let him or her work hearder. O Athough most universities in the uzbek are on a semestr system which offers classes in the fall and winter, some schools observe a quarter system comprised of winter, spring and summer quarters. The academic year, september to June,is divided into three quartes of eleven weeks each begginning in September,January and March the winter January to February is composed of shorter sessions of varying length. The are several adventages and disadvantages to the quarter system. On the plus side, students who wish to complate then degrecs in less then the customary four years may take advantage of the opportunity to study year round by enrolling in all four quarters. In addition although most students begin their programs in the fall quarter they may enter at the beginning of any of the other quarters. O The goverment of Uzbekistan pays pays great attention of the O education and upbringing of O your people. They have every opportunity to study. The uniform system of public education in our Republic makes it possible to proceed easily from lower level to higher education.
