b.Write a PPP lesson plan to introduce third conditional to adult students.

Presentation:
Introduction of Lesson Theme, Objectives, and Target Language
Time: 10 minutes

-The teacher contextualizes students via exposing them to a collection of sentences on the board (If I had warned them earlier, they wouldn`t have swum in the river; If I had had a lot of money, I would have bought Japanese language course last month).
-Students read by turns and focus on the sentences.
-The teacher underlines the (if clause + main clause) and asks to guess what it is (Eliciting + stimulating students curiosity)
-Students get prompt to identify the subject and verb + tense of the verbs.

Practice:
Students work with the language
Time: 10 minutes

The teacher gives the students handouts which situational pictures have to be matched with past unreal conditions. After completion, the teacher tells the students to exchange worksheets in order to make peer correction.

Production:
Students master and internalize language. This is an opportunity to apply the language to a task
Time: 20 minutes

The students are divided into two subgroups. In order to make lesson enjoyable, the teacher distributes pictures that are illustrated with funny situations. The first group gives subordinate clauses to the second group with the help of model samples given by the teacher. For example:
-If someone had sat on my hat yesterday, I would/ would not ....
-If my brother had not worn my trousers without permission, I would/ would not ....
-If I had not eaten ice-creams so much, I would/ would not ....

Assessment/ Homework
