   Excuse me. can you tell me any particularities about the Booker Prize? As far as I know it is awarded to the writers of the British Commonwealth and Ireland. Unfortunately I don't know the details.

     В Well, the Man Booker Prize for fiction is the most prestigious award. It was originally set up by Booker company in 1969 to raise the stature of the author in the eyes of the public and to encourage an interest in contempo­rary quality fiction. The winner of the Prize receives £ 50 000 and many pos­sibilities for his future activities.
