Exercise 21. Give extensive answers to these questions.
What theatrical (ballet) performances would you advise a foreign colleague to see in Moscow? 2. What is your favourite drama theatre? 3. Who is your favourite Russian (British) playwright? 4. What would you rather see: a drama or an opera? 5. Who is your favourite actor (actress, ballet-dancer, singer)?
Exercise 22. Debate these problems. Give your arguments “for” and “against.”

It was quite by chance** that Shirley got the main role. She might have been a chorus girl for many years.
Shirley's success in "The Pajama Game” meant nothing. She might again become a chorus girl after “The Pajama Game” stopped running.
The counter-argument: key sentences.
Any talented girl can become a famous actress. No help is needed if you have a talent.
If Caro) had not broken her ankle, Shirley might have got the main part in another show because she was really talented.
Nothing succeeds like success. After her success in "The Pajama Game” Shirley became famous and well-known producers invited her to play in their shows and films.
