[F-Am] Welcome to “In the Know” with me, your host, Amanda 
Ridgely. The breaking news of the day is the collapse of Brinks 
Machinery in Springtown. The President, Steve Chadley, 
told reporters this morning that the company would stop 
operations at the end of the month. Blaming cheap imports 
from overseas, Chadley confirmed that the entire factory 
would be closing. Over four hundred people are expected to 
lose their jobs. The news has come as a great shock to the 
town, which has been home to Brinks for over fifty years.
