1.2 The significance and motivation
After the Covid-19 pandemic, the flow of tourists is increasing in Uzbekistan, where temporary accommodation is a necessary facility for residents. Uzbekistan's government has been attempting to strengthen the tourism sector in order to attract more visitors to the nation. The number of visitors visiting Samarkand has significantly grown in recent years. However, advertising hotel services has been difficult, and it is critical to understand the elements influencing their service quality and develop methods to improve it. The motivation of this research is to encourage the development of hotel services in Samarkand, which is important for the expansion of the tourist sector, which influences the overall improvement of the country's economy. The purpose of this research is to identify present hotel promotion tactics and their effectiveness, as well as variables influencing hotel service promotion in Samarkand. This research also makes recommendations for increasing the promotion of hotel services in Samarkand and, as a result, the growth of the tourism industry.
1.3 Aims and objectives
The purpose of this project is to improve hotel services as a type of tourist services in Samarkand. This includes identifying the key challenges facing the hospitality industry and developing strategies to address them. The project also aims to enhance Samarkand's tourism as a tourist destination and improve the quality of hotel services to attract more visitors.
The goals of this project are:

    1. Analyze the current state of the hotel industry in Samarkand and identify the problems that hoteliers face when promoting their services among tourists.

    2. Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to introduce additional services in hotels.

    3. Improve the training and development of hotel staff in customer service, language skills and other areas to provide high-quality guest experience.

1.4 Methodology
The study will use a mixed approach that will include both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. The sampling technique will comprise a selection of visitors visiting Samarkand. Personal interviews will be used to obtain both quantitative and qualitative data. The responses of the respondents will be examined, and common difficulties and inadequacies in the Samarkand hospitality industry will be identified.
