technologies. It should be noted that in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the 
issues of the use of information and communication methods and means of collecting, 
collecting and distributing information are not widely reflected. Therefore, the use of DDoS 
attacks, phishing and other means and methods of committing cybercrimes, especially in 
the field of internet banking, is not specifically reflected in the Criminal Code of the Republic 
of Uzbekistan. Currently, criminal legislation faces tasks related to the need to improve the 
legislation in the field of combating cybercrimes in a timely manner. 
CONCLUSION AND DISCUSSION 
In the seven articles of the Criminal Code of our country related to the field of 
information technologies and other legal documents, there is a lack of certain provisions on 
the responsibility of information systems, users of information on the Internet, providers, 
mass media, and others. For this reason, there was a real need to develop and introduce 
amendments (amendments and additions) to the Criminal Code of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan. The Criminal Code regulates crimes related to theft of other people's property 
(theft, fraud, extortion), communication networks, including the Internet, unauthorized 
access to information systems and data, plastic and I believe that it is appropriate to add, 
change and make additions to the information related to the purchase of funds through credit 
cards. 
Taking into account the modern reality, it is necessary to define the complex concept 
of "cybercrime" and to conduct scientific research to identify the main elements of these 
crimes and to develop a methodology for investigating these socially dangerous acts.
