INTRODUCTION
For the development of any language, in most cases, changes in functions in the formation of a new word help, new models of words are formed, changes in existing words. The development of word formation takes place in such ways as: borrowing, affixation, word formation, word fusion, abbreviations, conversions and others.
In Uzbek linguistics, in a number of studies, scientific views on linguistic phenomena from the point of view of cognitive linguistics are reflected as a result of conceptual analysis. Thus, the study of the problem associated with the role of cognitive mechanisms of language units, in particular, idiomatic compound words and their verbalization through language units, is the further improvement of such scientific views.
In the process of our country’s integration into the international community, “all the strengths of our state and society are mobilized so that our young people have independent, intellectually and spiritually powerful potential, are not inferior to their peers at the world level in any industry, be harmoniously developed and happy”1. The progressive development of science and technology in a multicultural world requires young people to deeply knowledge of several languages. Which, in turn, requires a deep study of not only the phonetic, lexical and grammatical features of the language being studied, but also phenomena that reflect folk culture, spirituality, and national-mental features. In this regard, special relevance acquires at the present stage of development of science and education its connection with moral, national-cultural, universal values. Accounting for these factors in the process of conducting scientific research is implemented in the formation of theories and directions, which are based on general linguistic, linguocognitive, comparative and other principles of language research.
Word-groups and different types of words are unequally distributed among various lexical stylistic groups of the vocabulary, with a predominance of one or another type in every group. For example, new words in the field of science are mostly of derived and compound structure but the technical section of the vocabulary extension is characterised by simple words. The greater part of word-groups is found among scientific and technical terms; the political layer of vocabulary is rather poor in word-groups. Besides this peculiar distribution of different types of words, every type acquires its own specific peculiarity in different lexical stylistic groups of the vocabulary, for example, although derived words are typical both of scientific and technical terms, words formed by conversion are found mostly among technical terms.
