INTRODUCTION
A working definition of culture needs to be established, as the term culture itself can be confusing or too broad. Culture has been and continues to be defined in many ways. Peck defined culture as "the accepted and exemplary behavior of a particular people" and "membership in a community of discourse with a shared social space and shared history and imagination." by Sisoyev1 as "a system of signs, meanings and norms that distinguish groups of people who are united by certain characteristics such as origin, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, socio-economic class or others, passed from one generation to another" describes. Political Views. Hammerley very simply stated that culture is "the general way of life of a people."
The relationship between teaching culture and language is based on the belief that language and culture are interrelated. Culture cannot be taught without language, and similarly, language cannot be taught without culture. prevails. According to Peck, "Teaching a foreign language without studying the culture is wrong and incomplete," or as Sellami calls it, "a lifeless endeavor." According to Lessard-Clouston, teaching a language is teaching a culture.
