Conclusion/Recommendations. Based on the results of exploration drilling and seismic exploration in the Barsakelmes
trough, one can expect the discovery of new deposits in non-arched traps. Among non-anticline traps, lithological traps of various
nature are the most widely used and are one of the most difficult objects to predict.
Laced sand bodies embedded in clayey rocks, also overlain by clays and laterally bounded by floodplain and lacustrine
clays, may contain deposits and may be located outside positive structures. In this case, on the monoclines, all the meanders of
the lace sand body, with their convex side facing up along the rise of the layers, become traps. Such traps and deposits can be
called meanders. The possibility of distribution of such objects in the deposits of the Lower Cretaceous deposits was
substantiated in the works of Akramkhodzhaev A.M., Babaev A.G., Davlyatov Sh.D., Egamberdiev M.E. and others [1,5,6,7,11]
Based on the structural-facies features of the deposits, various types of deposits of the lithological type can be
distinguished:
1) sleeve-shaped (laced) associated with sandy deposits of ancient river channels;
2) confined to ancient coastal sand bars;
3) associated with sandy or carbonate reservoirs, wedging out along the rise of the layers;
4) confined to lenticular sandstones (fig. 2).
The increased activity of tectonic movements in the study area led to the constant migration of the coastline and, as a
result, the displacement of all facies zones in the northwest direction. At the same time, the amplitude of tectonic movements
increased. At the same time, the Paleo-Deltaic systems expanded, compensating for the ever-increasing rates of subsidence. This
led to the formation of large strata of terrigenous lower Jurassic deposits (Northern Dzhangyzsu well 1).
