OF LINEAR GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURES OF THE WESTERN TIP OF THE NORTH NURATINSKY
MOUNTAINS ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE NORTH PISTALINSKAYA PERSPECTIVE AREA
Abstract
This article presents the results of Automated detection of linear geological structures. Identification of linear
structures, is one of the complex tasks in geology, both in the field studies and in the use of cartographic materials and space
survey materials. Usually, for the purpose of line structures interpretation from space survey data, semi-automated methods are
used, which facilitate their visual interpretation. When identifying linear structures using space images, it is quite difficult to
select certain criteria that will correspond to features of all linear geological objects and field survey data, since in different areas
fault, thrust and fault outcrops on the surface have different features, and often they are covered by a layer of overlying rocks.
Therefore, when identifying linear structures, it is necessary to take into account both forms of relief, also reflection of elements
of linear geological structures on the surface and their latent manifestations, which can be distinguished by infrared spectral
channels of space images.
