The study of ocular blood flow in glaucoma using the Angio-OCT technique makes it possible to identify a significant decrease in the hemodynamic parameters of the OD (optical disk) and the macular zone (density of the blood flow area) and the case was detected in older patients with glaucoma compared to younger patients. Glaucomatous optic neuropathy (GON) is characterized by the progressive death of retinal ganglion cells and their axons, leading to loss of vision and blindness. Risk factors for the onset and progression of glaucoma include systemic and ocular factors such as middle age, lower ocular perfusion and intraocular pressure (Hanhan Liu, Venera Prokosh, 2021).
