Lesson plan for ”My family” Teacher:

Objectives:
-to help pupils to know the members of a famil


-to enable pupils to practice the new words


-to help pupils to improve their listening and speaking skills


Needed materials:A text book,the DVD of the book,pictures of


family,some cards and handouts


Lesson aims Students learn the words for family
members.
New language grandma, grandpa, dad, mom,
uncle, aunt, brother, sister, cousin, This is my (grandpa).
Recycled language book, chair, bike, computer,

II.Day review.Revising previous lesson.


(The teacher asks the pupils the names of school items,it's colours and where are they.)

III.Main part:


a)Teaching the new words

Activity 2 Look and do


(The picture of tree is put on the blackboard without the members and the


pupils must stick the members of a family with its pictures and make up a family


tree)


Objectives:


-to anable the pupils to remember the new words



Activity3Look and draw
(The teacher tells the pupils to draw the picture of her/his family and say


who is this and what's her or his name)


Objectives:


-to teach the pupils to use the pronouns


-to help them working individually

Ending the lesson:
For the next lesson: Students find a family photograph at
home and bring it to class.
