At present, special attention is paid to measures to create modern tourism 
infrastructure in the regions of the country. To this end, the program provides for the 
creation of five new modern recreation areas on the shores of Aydar-Arnasay lakes in 
Khanabad, Andijan region, Forish and Arnasay districts of Jizzakh region, four-star 
hotels in Shakhrisabz and Karshi, Kashkadarya region, Chimgan, Bostanlyk district of 
Tashkent region. It is planned to build a hotel complex in the mountains, as well as to 
organize domestic tourism on the southern shore of Lake Tudakol in Navoi region and 
beaches for foreign tourists on the shores of Lake Aydarkol. 
Moreover, it is planned to build about 20 ecotourism centers in Urgut district, 
Takhtakoracha pass and Yukori chinar, in Ohalik and Mironkol districts of Samarkand 
district, and about 10 agro-tourism facilities in Samarkand, Taylak and Jambay 
districts. The Khorezm oasis is one of the regions of Uzbekistan with a unique nature, 
unique cultural and historical monuments included in the UNESCO list, infrastructure 
and high tourist potential. 
In the future, due to the construction of 25 more hotels and the expansion of 5 
existing hotels, the number of beds in them will increase from 2,100 to 3,170. In 
addition, 22 cultural and historical heritage sites will be repaired and restored. Health-
tourism complexes will be built in Bagat, Xonqa, Yangibazar and Urgench districts, on 
the banks of the Amudarya, on the shores of Govukkul and Eshanravot lakes. By 2021, 
the number of foreign tourists visiting the region is expected to double to 100,000.

In our country we have such kind of ancient, historical cities that are difficult to 
determine their exact age. They are a unique monument of human civilization. In 
particular, the unique archeological and architectural monuments of Bukhara, which 
has a history of two thousand years, attract tourists from all over the world. It is also 
planned to build more than 40 new hotels and expand 12 existing hotels over the next 
five years to increase the tourist potential of Samarkand. As a result, the number of 
hotel beds will increase to 7,000, or 1.5 times more than now
