this lesson, e.g. 

The teacher has just explained the 

grammar, but we haven’t done the exercise in the

PRACTICE

•  Ask students to look at Practice exercise 14 of the 

Language File on page 117 and complete the sentences 

with the present perfect of the verbs. Do the first one 

together as an example.

•  Check the answers by asking different students to say 

the completed sentences.
