In recent times, many young people have become less social and stay inside more often. What are the causes of this? How can young people be enabled or encouraged to interact with the outside world more?

A further positive is the reduction of production costs. Unlike workers, robots work non-stop and never require salary, food, insurance or uniforms, which can allow companies to save significant amount of money and decrease the price of their products.
People nowadays tend to have children at older ages. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?
Accumulation of extensive experience is the main advantage of having children at a later age. Decent upbringing, which includes knowing children’s diet, understanding their psychology and catering for their daily needs all come from either watching others do these things of helping other family members. This acquired knowledge can be an asset for parents who decide to have a baby much later enabling them to make fewer mistakes in raising their minors.

It is argued that today’s children live an easy life, though some might assume that the same can be said of the children of the past. While life was free of stress and challenge for children in some respects many decades ago, it is, for the most part, significantly more enjoyable at present.

True, children in the past enjoyed a happy life in some regards. For instance, absence of schoolwork meant they could spend more time for leisure such as playing outdoor games. Not having to cope with academic requirements, children generally suffered less stress and mental exertion, unlike children of today, who are groomed for success from quite young ages. One other important consideration is the general wellbeing of children in retrospect. Because children would spend more time outdoors and eat organic food, they were less likely to suffer from chronic health conditions such as obesity and diabetes, which are relatively commonplace among children today.

I, however, would contend life has become, on the whole, easier for children in recent years. Arguably the most evident advantage they have is easy access to transportation. While children before had to commute long distances to school on foot - often accompanied by feelings of exhaustion and tiredness – children today have their parents drive them to school in their family car or give them bus fare to go to school. Other than providing safety, travelling by car means they are safe from bullies on their way to school, which is not only a safety issue, but also a source of psychological trauma. More interesting is the fact that children now have fewer responsibilities in terms of housework thanks to the availability of a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, and many other modern conveniences.
