«Zamonaviy dunyoda innovatsion tadqiqotlar: Nazariya 
va amaliyot» nomli ilmiy, masofaviy, onlayn konferensiya 
popularized by John Maynard Keynes in the 1930s, who said it was "only a temporary phase of 
misconfiguration." Innovation is the involvement of business in all scientific, technical, 
organizational, financial, and commercial activities that lead or are designed to lead to 
innovation. This includes research and development (R&D), which is not directly related to the 
development of a particular innovation, but has a significant impact on its effectiveness. 
The number and role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the economy are 
increasing every year. They are characterized by a great variety of industries and a high 
propensity to innovate. Among the traders registered in Silesia, the largest group are 
individuals engaged in business activities and commercial companies, including companies 
with foreign capital. The smallest group is state-owned companies. All companies, regardless 
of their form of ownership and origin of capital, are highly competitive and adaptable to 
changes in the market. Highly qualified scientific institutions and research and development 
provide dynamic development of advanced technologies and innovative solutions in such areas 
as information technology, automotive industry, services segment, and all this contributes to 
the formation of new industries.
Thus, we show that changes in the structure of employment and innovation processes 
have a mutual influence on each other.
