INTRODUCTION (abstract of the thesis of the Doctor of Phylosophy on economic sciences (PhD))

The aim of the research work isto develop scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at improving the financial mechanisms of investment activities of insurance companies.

The tasks of the research work are:

to study the theoretical and methodological foundations of lending to small businesses and the formation of relevant scientific and theoretical conclusions;
to conduct an in-depth analysis of the regulatory framework for lending to small businesses;
to research foreign experience and its methodology in improving the practice of lending to small businesses by commercial banks;
to analyze the role of small businesses in the global community and trends in its development;
to analyze the current state of the practice of lending to small businesses by commercial banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan and identification of current trends;
to research the methodology of lending to small businesses at the expense of attracted foreign and domestic funds;
to identify problems due to improving the practice of lending to small businesses by commercial banks;
to analyze the activities of the small business support fund;
to conduct an econometric analysis of factors affecting the practice of lending to small businesses;
to develop scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at improving the practice of lending to small businesses by commercial banks.
