Technique 1: Brainstorming
- Teacher asks students to write a work which they are able to do every day on the white board. (Only one).
- Each of the students writes one example and read it loudly.
- T checks some spelling and pronunciation of the whole class.
-T says today; you are going to learn about CAN , its formulas and when do we use
T writes formulas of the CAN and gives information about the theme.
T draws a star on the whiteboard and asks students to fill the cloud with VERBS which they can do them
Ss writes them turn by turn.
Ss ask several questions which they cannot catch in the given information.
Technique 2: CCQ (Concept checking questions)
T gives quick questions about the todays theme.
Ss should answer to the questions as soon as possible.
T checks and gives point.

In the technique 1 student may have some problem to think quickly and they may have some mistakes while writing their sentences on the whiteboard. Yet, the T can check the Ss spelling ability. With the second technique T can check the Sss concept about the theme very quickly and it helps to save the time.
