Language aspect: Grammar
Language objective of the lesson: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use Present Simple and Present Progressive accurately in a meaningful context.
Sequence in the lesson: Towards the end of the lesson
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Instructions:

  • Describe the given picture using Present Simple/Present Progressive.

  • Look at your picture carefully and take a few moments to think before you start talking.

  • Don’t panic if you don’t know the words for all the things in the picture. You don’t need to know all the words for everything in the picture.

  • Use the useful language below so you can explain which part of the picture you are talking about.

2. What is where?

  • In the foreground/background you can see ...
