List of normative acts of the attached state concerning fundamental human rights in Finland

Human rights in Finland are freedom of speech, religion, association, and assembly as upheld in law and in practice Individuals are guaranteed basic rights under the constitution, by legislative acts, and in treaties relating to human rights ratified by the Finnish government. The constitution provides for an independent judiciary. Finland has been ranked above average among the world's countries in democracypress freedom and human development. Amnesty International has expressed concern regarding some issues in Finland, such as alleged permitting of stopovers of CIArendition flights, the imprisonment of objectors to military service, and societal discrimination against Romani people and members of other ethnic and linguistic minorities

7. Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment - 1986

8. European Convention for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment - 1988

9. International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance - 2007

In addition to them, Finish signed a number of protocols, optional protocols and additional protocols for these major conventions.
