Student literature review

Purpose

Introduction (extract)

Since the development of technology and computers, corpus-based education has also shown to be an effective technique for teaching foreign languages. But at the same time, we must be aware that using all corpus-based activities is more difficult for teachers and students, due to the fact that not all English lessons are available on the Internet. But what is a corpora? Electronic authentic language databases that are accessible through the internet or as desktop software are referred to as corpora, the plural form of the word "corpus." Language corpora come from collections of written and oral texts, for example, collections of written texts, extracted from various newspapers, business letters, works of art, magazines or books, school essays. Any recorded formal or informal talks, radio shows, weather reports, business meetings, and more might be considered collections of spoken text. In this paper also emphasizes the importance of the teacher.

Literature review includes:
- Background or context for the subject;
- The issue you wish to concentrate on;
- Review's objective and the literary works you'll be citing;
- Key phrase definitions, if applicable utilize them;
In this review, the student will learn the basic corpus technologies while studying the lecture. The student will also consider the most important directions for determining the effectiveness of corpus classes in teaching vocabulary, and also the relationship of all students to materials when using corpus tasks for studying English vocabulary.
The purpose of this review is to explore the basic concepts associated with corpora, then to illustrate how a corpus can be useful in language learning and teaching.

Body Paragraph 1 (extract)

Varley (2008) asserts that technology and computers have taken center stage in society. There is no denying that technology has a significant impact on how people live their lives. However, teaching is one of the fields where technology has not had a significant impact, according to Breyer (2008). Corpus linguistics is the main tool based on technology. It could be very useful during training, but has not yet been widely used or tested. O'Keffey writes that a corpus is a set of electronic texts that is stored on computers. And due to this, it allows you to store very large volumes of texts.

The review's topics have been chosen by the author.
The main paragraph begins with the statement of the opinion of Varley, who writes about the fact that technology and computers occupy an important place in human life.
The author introduces the concept of engagement before contrasting the results of Varley and Breyer.
Later, statistics claim that a corpus is a set of electronic texts that is stored in a computer.

Body Paragraph 2 (extract)

According to Biber, Conrad, and Reppen (2008), a corpus is a systematic collection of texts that may be used for both qualitative and quantitative research. This description is helpful because it encompasses several significant topics. For example Salma (2010), sure that a lot of research has been done to better understand the effectiveness of using corpora linguistics as a teaching method. Particular grammatical constructions, words, and expressions are used in English.
According to Maddalena (2001), using real-world, authentic examples with L2 learners is preferable than using made-up examples that don't reflect real-world language use. The opportunity for pupils to interact with and examine language is another advantage of employing corpora in language instruction.
Teachers have used corpora in their lessons for a variety of reasons. The pupils' vocabulary grows faster with this strategy than with other ones, which is the first justification. The students find it intriguing, another reason why many do not reject the kind of study that is offered through the usage of the corpus.

It can be emphasized that all the written arguments are well proven in their own way.
In this paragraph, the author describes the corpus as a systematic set of texts that can be used for both qualitative and quantitative research.
Further, we can conclude that with this strategy, students' vocabulary grows faster. Also, using authentic real-world examples with L2 learners is more preferable.

Conclusion (extract)

In conclusion, it is both necessary and effective to employ corpora when learning new words. Even though it can be difficult, corpora have a lot of potential in EFL lessons. The student gains a broad vocabulary from several subjects that aids in fluent communication. Currently, many technological developments are being sparked by the usage of corpora in vocabulary learning.

In conclusion, the author writes about the effectiveness of using the corpus during training. This has a very strong and powerful effect on the student's vocabulary, and thus helps with free communication.
