Meridianlar yaqinlashish burchagi sharqiy bo’lganda OC chiziq yo’nalishining haqiqiy azimut bilan direksion burchagi o’rtasidagi munosabat berilgan. αOC = AOC – γShQ AOC = αOC + γShQ Xuddi shuningdek, meridianlar yaqinlashish burchagi g’arbiy bo’lganda OC chiziq yo’nalishining haqiqiy azimuti bilan direksion burchagi o’rtasidagi munosabat berilgan. ya’ni: αOC = AOC + γG’ AOC = αOC – γG’

Yer yuzasida yoki topografik va planda berilgan biron bir chiziq yo’nalishining direksion burchagi – α ma’lum bolganda, uning rumbi – r ni, aksincha, rumbi ma’lum bo’lganda uning direksion burchagini aniqlash mumkin. Rasmga asoslanib direk-sion burchak bilan rumb o’rtasidagi munosabatni aniqlash mumkin.

Choraklar bo’yicha berilgan chiziq yo’nalishining direksion burchagi – α ma’lum bo’lganda shu yunalishning rumb burchagini qo’yidagicha aniqlash mumkin: I – chorakda, ShShQ : r1 = α1; II – chorakda, JShQ : r2 =1800 – α2; III – chorakda, JG’ : r3 = α3 – 1800; IV – chorakda, ShG’: r4 =3600 – α4;

yoki, berilgan chiziq yo’nalishining rumbi ma’lum bo’lganda shu chiziqning direksion burchagini qo’yidagicha aniqlash mumkin: I–chorakda, ShShQ: α1=r1; II–chorakda, JShQ: α2=1800 –r2; III–chorakda, JG’: α3=1800+r3; IV–chorakda, ShG’: α4=3600–r4;
