5.3.6 Total Savings by Energy Saving Investment Measures
The saved energy, costs and carbon dioxide emissions for the energy saving investment
measures have been summarised in table 7. As can be seen in the table, approximately 400
MWh/year of electricity and almost 400 MWh/year of district heating can be saved by these
measures. This would save more than 650 000 SEK/year in energy cost. The carbon dioxide
emissions from the plant would decrease with approximately 300 tonCO
2
/year. It should be
noted that 262 MWh/year of the saved district heating consumption is not a direct decrease,
but an avoided increase of consumption.
