The \'uptalk\' phenomenon in modern English

Scientific novelty of research. Phenomenon is the plural of phenomenon, usually referring to an observable event or circumstance. For example, hurricanes and tornadoes are two types of weather phenomena.
Phenomenon is also often used to refer to an unusual event or something that is of great interest and attention, as in Both films become a global phenomenon.
Sometimes the phenomenon refers to a person with extraordinary talents or abilities, especially a relatively young person who is considered a prodigy. The word phenomenon (a shortened form of phenomenon) is often used with the same meaning, as in She became an internationally famous chess phenomenon at the age of 14. The meaning of this phenomenon is not usually pluralized as phenomenon.
Structure of research. Graduation thesis is consists of Introduction, Main part ( two chapter ), Conclusion, References as well as Appendix.

Chapter I. Theoretical aspects of phenomenon and phonology
1.1 English phonology as a system of speech sounds

A phoneme is the smallest sound unit that distinguishes meaning in the abstract representation of the sounds of a language. The slashes are often used to denote a phoneme, /p/, an abstract segment, in contrast to square brackets, as in [p], which are used for each phonetic segment or are naturally generated. An essential property of a phoneme is that it acts in contrast. For example, there are two phonemes

/f/ and /v/ in English because they are the sole basis for the contrasting meanings between the words fat and vat or fine and vine. This contrast property is a basic operational test to determine which phonemes exist in a language. If we replace one sound with another in a word and there is a change in meaning, then those two sounds represent different phonemes.
Consider the following English words:
sip chunk
zip junk
Each word is different from the other in both form and meaning. The difference between sip and zip is indicated by the fact that the first syllable of the first word is [s] and the first syllable of the second is [z]. The forms of the two words, i.e. their sounds, are identical except for the first consonant. [s] and [z] can therefore distinguish or contrast words. These are special sounds in English. These special sounds are called phonemes. Phonology tells us that they function like phonemes, acting in contrast to words.
