INTRODUCTION


In the modern world, the role of foreign languages is increasing. The restructuring of the educational school, a significant increase in international relations create certain preconditions for improving the teaching of foreign languages. After all, knowledge of a foreign language is evidence of the level of culture and education. The scope of its application for a modern person is expanding significantly with the increase in interstate relations, as well as the possibility of using foreign literature in their work.
Relevance of the topic. With the onset of the 21st century, the question of introducing the inhabitants of the coming century to world culture, the approach of his educational level to the European standard, and his knowledge of at least two foreign languages arose in a timely manner.
Objective control of the student's knowledge, skills and abilities for compliance with the requirements of educational regulatory documents of various levels and focus is one of the urgent tasks of the present time.
Testing is one of the most standardized and objective methods of control and assessment of knowledge, skills and abilities of the examinee, which is devoid of such traditional disadvantages of other methods of knowledge control as heterogeneity of requirements, subjectivity of examiners, uncertainty of the assessment system.
Many works of various authors are devoted to the study of the application of test control and assessment. A.A. Konysheva examines the use of test control in teaching foreign languages by studying various types of tests and organizing testing. This topic is also considered in the works of I.A. Rapoport, V.M. Kaziev and in the works of other authors. Given the interest of teachers in this type of control as a test, encourages us to conduct research on this topic.
The object of research is testing as one of the forms of learning control.
The subject of the research is the features of the use of test control in teaching a foreign language.
The purpose of the research is to study the features of the use of test control and motivation in teaching a foreign language.
The purpose of the study led to the formulation of the following tasks:
1) study the theoretical foundations of using the test as one of the means of control of learning a foreign language;
2) consider the types of tests in a foreign language;
3) study the specifics of organizing and conducting testing in a foreign language;
4) consider the possibilities of using the close test in teaching a foreign language.
5) consider the types of assessment and motivation as one of the most important methods of teaching a foreign language.
During the research, a theoretical research method was used: study and analysis of literature.
The theoretical significance of the work lies in the analysis of the problem of using test control in a foreign language, systematization of technologies for compiling, organizing and conducting a close test.
