“MUXTASARI LATIF” – It is a name of historic book by Rup Narayan Kihtari, Indian historian. It was written in 1774. It was a simplified Persian translation copy of the book “Lubut-tavorixi Hind” by Rai Bindraban Ibn Rai Biharyaman and was performed by the order of Lutfulla Khan Bahodur, the ruler of Lahur. If Rup Narayan outlined history of Indian lands since the introduction of the Islam until 1688, the book “Lubut-tavorihi Hind” described events until 1712. There was kept a copy of the book “Muxtasari latif” in the fund of Institute of Oriental Science.

MUXTOROV AHROR (1914-2009) – He was a scientist, historian. He was born in Auratipe region of Tadjikistan and member of Science Academy of Tadjikistan. He was the author of number of books, textbooks and articles devoted to history of Central Asia. He found many stone records belonging to Babur near the Shurah well in Obburdan town and gave them to the Museum in Dushanbe. In his book titled “Toshda ham yurak bor (Even stones bear heart)” he researched stone records belonging to Babur.

MUSHI MUSHKIN (Eng. Asian house shrew) – It is a name of an anumal (Latin Suncus murinus) from the family Insectivora in the order of Soricidae from the species of mammals. Some recodes called it as “Big white tooth” or “house white tooth”. It inhabits the territory of South and South-east Asiam South China and Malaya archipelago. Its weight is about 80-150 grams, with length of 11-15 sm. Asian house shrew usually lives in wet areas and mainly active at nights. It separates a sweet smell from its grands so common people call it as “mushk yerqazar(odored mole)”. “The other one was a mouse “Nijrauda” called “mushi mushkin”. It smells as musk, but I did not meet any” [“B”, on folio 135 b].
