Introduction
In our last unit we were able to examine the lecture and demonstration methods. In this unit
we are going to look at discussion, dramatic and project methods of teaching history. To do
justice to this we shall be looking at the meaning, types, advantages and disadvantages of the
three methods. Efforts will also be made to identify ways through which to
improve on the
use of these methods so as to enhance effective teaching and learning of history.
