Topic of the lesson: Schools around the world
Aims of the topic: To give information about schools of different kind of countries
The aim of the current observation: This observation has been carried on mainly to learn how a competent teacher should act during the lesson and also how to keep pupils attentive till the end of the lesson.

Student Zarshod Jalolov conducted the whole lesson properly and acted suitably. He taught perfectly and managed to control the class, organized the lesson well and use different kinds of materials such as handouts, posters technological devices All pupils were active during the lesson because, he always kept in touch children. At the end of the lesson nearly every member of class was able to answer according to the new theme and got excellent and good marks.

The room was equipped with traditional supplies but missing some modern technological support

Everybody followed school discipline fully

Individual work took a little longer than expected causing the shortage at the end

Teacher used body language a lot: eye contact, hand gestures, facial expressions

The teacher made sure if every student fully understood the instructions and asked for clarification

Teacher interacted with students but they did not perform any team work

Classroom were quiet and students did not perform any physical movement

As an emotional support, teacher gave applauses for students who were first to complete the task

Teacher checked every student while they were doing the tasks and corrected some mistakes along the way

Students communicated only with their pairs at the desk

The were no any team work

Cooperation was perfect between students and the teacher but poor among students


Other comments:
The teacher should have added some pair or group work to keep student-student interaction. Also, the classroom needs some modern technology to keep up with modern techniques. But the lesson was informative and well-organized.
