Methods of the research are analyzing-descriptive, comparative, cognitive and experimental:
Novelty of the research paper is cognitive and national-cultural approach to expressing agreement and disagreement and defining ways of expressing in English texts concerning different spheres of life from English into other languages.
The theoretical significance of the research is dealing with the use expressing agreement and disagreement in English classes allows to realizing their specificity in the English language.
The practical significance of the research is implementing agreement and disagreement activities in English classroom and helping learners improve their knowledge of expressing agreement and disagreement.
The structure of the research work consists of introduction, three parts, conclusion, and list of the used literature and references.


Chapter I. Subject matter of expressing agreement and disagreement in English

    1. History study of linguistic expression of agreement and disagreement

Agreement has historically been characterized as the preferred response to a proposition or assessment, disagreement as the misreferred response. Yet modern-day search for social interaction indicates that the use and assessment of these two speech acts is more complex than thought[12,1].
The history of agreement and disagreement can be traced back to the beginning of human interaction. As early humans formed groups and communities, they likely encountered situations where they needed to agree or disagree with one another in order to make decisions or resolve conflicts. In ancient societies, agreements were often made through spoken or written contracts, which outlined the terms and conditions of an agreement between parties. Disagreements were often resolved through negotiations or, in some cases, through conflicts and battles.
Throughout history, various political, religious, and cultural movements have led to both agreements and disagreements among people. Examples include the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215, which established the principle of individual rights and limits on the power of the monarch, and the disagreements between Protestants and Catholics during the Reformation in the 16th century.[14,26]
Since the 1970s, the form and function of agreement and disagreement have been studied through a variety of interpretive frameworks, typically discourse analysis and pragmatics. (especially faces, language, rudeness, relationship management theory). Lots of context research: social and workplace interactions (intra- and inter-cultural); institutional discourse (e.g., police officer vs. citizen); media discourse (e.g., televised interviews); political/governmental discourse (e.g., parliamentary debates); Online speech (e.g asynchronous blog), etc.
In modern times, agreements and disagreements are often addressed through legal systems and political institutions. International agreements such as the Paris Agreement on climate change and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child are examples of efforts to promote agreement on important global issues. On the other hand, disagreements over political and social issues can lead to protests, unrest, and even violence.
The concepts of agreement and disagreement have been important in human communication throughout history. Humans have always had to work together in order to accomplish tasks and achieve goals, and this has required the ability to reach agreements and resolve disagreements. Here is some information about the history of agreement and disagreement[15,7]
