Opintojakson suoritettuaan opiskelija 

• 
  osaa jäsentää oman pedagogisen toimintansa perustana olevia kasvatusfilosofisia ja teoreettisia lähtökohtia sekä johtaa niistä omaa kasvatus- ja opetustyötä linjaavia ja ohjaavia periaatteita 
  
• 
  tiedostaa pedagogisen johtamisen perustehtävät varhaiskasvatustyössä sekä opettajan roolin tiimin pedagogisena johtajana 
  
• 
  ymmärtää ammatillisen vuorovaikutuksen periaatteita ja jatkuvan oppimisen merkityksen yksilö- ja yhteisötasolla 
  
• 
  kykenee omalla toiminnallaan edistämään yhteisön hyvinvointia sekä tunnistaa työsuojelun merkityksen 
  
• 
  kykenee kehittämään ja arvioimaan pedagogista toimintaa työyhteisössä ja edistää pedagogisen asiantuntijuuden kehittymistä yksilö- ja yhteisötasolla

Competence goals
After completing the course, the student
• knows how to structure the educational philosophical and theoretical starting points that form the basis of one's own pedagogical activities, and derive from them principles that guide and guide one's own educational and teaching work
• become aware of the basic tasks of pedagogical leadership in early childhood education work and the role of the teacher as the pedagogical leader of the team
• understand the principles of professional interaction and the importance of continuous learning at the individual and community level
• able to promote the well-being of the community through their own activities and recognize the importance of occupational health and safety
• able to develop and evaluate pedagogical activities in the work community and promote the development of pedagogical expertise at the individual and community level
