Kondratyeva 2 1 FSBEI HPE «Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University» (Novosibirsk) 2 SBEI HPE «Novosibirsk State Medical University of Ministry of Health» (Novosibirsk) The problem of research of emotional intelligence as important factor in the context of professionally significant qualities of the person is considered in the article. The results of researches of this phenomenon presented in literature in various applied directions and connected with sort by intellectual and behavioural skills are generalized (professional success, administrative activity, an adaptability and efficiency in communication). The results of research referred on detection of features of interpersonal and intrapersonal emotional intelligence at the students who are trained in medical and pedagogical higher education institutions are represented.
