• Based on the memorandum signed with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, the institute received new chemical sprayers worth $7,000. A $19,000 no-till seeder was also purchased. 
• Within the framework of the "Sustainable economic development in selected regions of Uzbekistan" project of the German GIZ organization, 2 laboratories for the development of aquaculture were established at the Department of Fisheries of the institute. The total investment in the laboratory is 401,774,000 soums.
