Conclusion
The main criteria of evaluating the effectiveness of my lessons for me always have been the extent how much my students enjoyed the lesson and the most significantly, how much set learning outcomes were met in real life and whether my students could produce, what I have expected from them. From this perspective, my lesson was effective, as I could fulfill all the things, I planned to do and could employ the techniques I intended to use and that gave positive effect.
In general, the lesson went well as the lesson plan was designed according to the principles of lesson planning for teaching. However, there were positive and negative moments in the lesson.

There were of course some difficulties with the language aspect and it was hard for me to identify which vocabulary point to teach and how to connect it with the topic of Endocrine system. The same happened with the cartoon choice as well. There were not so many options to choose from so in order not to get the content I tried to focused on my target learners and made decisions based on their needs, existing knowledge and their English level as well.


Integrating cartoons is also one of the good points of my lesson, because it helped to involve my students’ attention into the lesson. In addition, students were able to watch what they have learned and had a clear idea about endocrine system. On the other hand, I have understood preparing more comprehensive activities on the content-based cartoons makes the lesson more clear and involving.
