TERMS OF ARTS AND CRAFTS DECORATION 
Shukufta – serves for filling elements of 
patterns consisting of drawings of intertwined 
branches, stems and tendrils of plants. 
Bophta - tanob (bophta -
knitted, tanob -
lasso)

element consists of straight and curved lines. 
Tanob - from the Arabic means a noose, more resembling a 
knot or spool (chilvir). 
Margula - means the hook is reminiscent of 
eyebrows. 
Margula

of the pattern. 
 
Band (Банд) - mastered form of this plant, resembling the 
buds of climbing plants. 
Anor gul (pomegranate flower) – means pomegranate flower, 
a type of pattern resembling a pomegranate flower. 
 Akhta– pattern pattern applied to cardboard and punctured with a needle along 
the drawn line. 
Barg (a leaf) – artistic expression of plant 
leaves.
