Xloroplast matK yopiq urug’lilarning eng o'zgaruvchan barkod genlaridan biri bo'lib, quruqlik o'simliklari
uchun "barkod" bo'lishi taklif qilingan. O’simlik xloroplast barkod genlarida matK muhim universal nomzod
genlardan hisoblanib, u taxminan 1570 juft nukleotidlardan iboratdir[3].
matK barkod geni amplifikatsiyasi uchun K.Vijayan va C. Tsou [1] tomonidan matK X 5′-
TAATTTACGATCAATTCATTC-3′, matK 5 5′- GTTCTAGCACAAGAAAGTCG-3′ va 390F 5′-
CGATCTATTCATTCAATATTTC-3′,

praymerlari tavsiya etilgan.
Olib borilgan tadqiqotlar natijasida Atriplex pratovii o’simligini rbcL barkod geni amplifikatsiyasi
uchun rbcLa-F va rbcLa-R praymeri yordamida 600 juft nukleotiddan, rbcLa-F va rbcLajf634-R
praymeri yordamida esa 650 juft nukleotiddan iborat taxminiy uzunlikdagi PZR mahsuloti borligini
aniqlandi.
Atriplex pratovii o’simligining matK geni matK-1RKIM-F va matK-3FKIM-R praymerlari
yordamida 900 juft nukleotiddan iborat taxminiy uzunlikdagi PZR maxsuloti olindi.
