e.g Kecha u kelishidan oldin man uni 2 soatdan beri kutayotgan edim. (I had been waiting for her for 2 hours before she arrived yesterday)
2.O’tgan zamonda biror bir xolatni yoki vaziyatni sababini ko’rsatib berishda ishlatiladi.
e.g There was smoke in the room,somebody had been smoking.
e.g He was out of breath,he had been running.
Present perfectni hozirgi(pesent) zamonga aloqasi bor
Past perfectni esa o’tgan(past) zamon bilan aloqasi bor
