7. Cheilitis 

A. Angular cheilitis - because of the infectious origin of the disease and the leading part of streptococcus and fungi, it is 
necessary to begin UV-irradiation as soon as possible, then to spend ultraphonophoresis by Nystatin. 
B. Cheilitis glandularis - at the simple form of the disease electrophoresis by Iodine (from 6 % КI) is recommended for 
normalization of small salivary glands function. UV-irradiation is applied at inflammatory processes. Stagnation, hypostasis, 
consolidation of salivary glands are indications for application of ultrasound or ultraphonophoresis by Hydrocortisone. 
C. Melkerson-Rozental’s syndrome - improvement is observed at influence by ultrasound on the lip, at ultraphonophoresis by 
corticosteroids. 
D. Exematous cheilitis - because of the allergic etiology, at acute stage of the disease influence by electrophoresis by Dimedrol 
and electromagnetic field of UHF is recommended on the area of the rash. At chronic stage general and local UV-irradiation and 
ultraphonophoresis by corticosteroids is recommended.
