2. Amplipulse therapy (sinusoidal modulated currents - SMC) – the influence by alternating sinusoidal current with frequency of 
5000Hz and modulated by amplitude of 10-150Hz. 
Indications: 
- Peripheral blood circulation disorders 
- Nervously-muscular system function disorders 
- Tissues’ trophy disorders 
- Chronic inflammatory processes
- Neuralgia of trigeminal nerve 
- Consequences (aftereffects) of maxillofacial area traumas

Devices "Амплипульс-4", «Амплипульс-5», «Амплипульс-6», «Рефтон» are used. 
3. Fluctuorization - application of alternating electric current with randomly varying force, amplitude and frequency of fluctuations 
(from 100 to 2000Hz) for medical purposes. Fluctuorization has the following effects: 
- anesthetizing 
- accelerates the current of
wound
process 
- stimulates the limiting of the purulent locus from healthy tissues 
- stimulates the regeneration processes, by stimulating blood and lymph circulation 
- increases the vascular wall permeability 
- stimulates exchange processes
- activates phagocytosis and enzyme activity 

Three forms of current are applied by means of device for pain remove АСБ-2 

1st - two-polar symmetric 
2nd - partially straightened or two-polar asymmetrical 
3rd - constantly pulsing or unipolar, is used at fluctophoresis. 
Two first forms have anti-inflammatory and anaesthetizing effects. 
Fluctuorization is used at pains owing to chronic periodontitis, alveolitis, pulpitis, arthritis, enamel hypersensitivity, neuralgia 
and inflammatory processes - periostitis, an abscess, a phlegmon, parodontosis, actinomycosis, diseases of salivary glands, 
inflammatory contracture. 
Contra-indications:
- Malignant tumors 
- Menyer’s syndrome 
- Susceptibility to bleeding. 
III. Alternating electric currents and electromagnetic fields of high and ultrahigh frequency 
The following kinds of high-frequency influences are used in stomatology: 
1. Darsonvalization 
2. Diathermy 
3. Electric field of ultrahigh frequency - UHF 
4. Microwaves of different frequency and wave length.
