TOPIC Improving reading skills through effective reading strategies A2 level learners Research Questions 1.What is the importance of improving reading skill? 2.What are the problems in learning reading? 3.What is the fastest way to improve reading skills? 4. What is the effective teaching reading comprehension? 5.What are the best ways to improve reading skills? 6.How to read smartly? 7.What is the most important things learners should have to ensure reading comprehension? Participants Twenty- two learners in a classroom will participate in this study. Their level almost A2 level, and included In this group learners are ESL learners. It consist of 10 girls and 12 boys in 53-specialized school which is located in Andijan. Intervention I will teach strategies to enhance learners’ abilities to gain understanding from reading comprehension and other reading skills over a three-week period. Aim of the investigation Therefore this aim is to study affective reading strategies in order to improve reading skills. Data collection At the beginning of the study , I will give a one-page article with graphic display from Cambridge book to read, followed by simple quiz over the contents and a survey about how they approached the graphic display and text. After the three week period of teaching strategies to the learners, I will give them additional one-page article with graphic display and text to read , followed by another test over the contents and a post survey . The surveys will focus on questions such as whether they improve their reading comprehension. And, how they can achieve success and high score through effective reading strategies in reading skill.
