Quality control of raw materials and manufactured medicinal products has always been an important
task, the solution of which largely ensures its competitiveness and economic efficiency of production.
A very wide range o f raw materials is used for the production o f products, the environmental situ
ation is deteriorating, which leads to the appearance o f new highly active components-toxicants, includ
ing inorganic impurities. These circumstances require the widespread use o f modern physical and physi
co-chemical methods of analysis for quality control o f medicinal products.
In this sense, we can talk about the prospects of using analytical methods based on the preliminary
extraction of inorganic impurities with low-melting organic substances (FOV) and subsequent determina
tion o f their amount by instrumental method.
The aim of the study was: to systematically study and establish the regularities of extraction o f a
number of metal ions by low-melting organic substances and to develop methods combined with X-ray
fluorescence analysis (XFA) and solid-phase spectroscopy (TS) on this basis.
Higher carboxylic acids, as well as their technical fractions, were used as extractants.
Using the methods of IR, TC, Raman spectroscopy, thermal, X-ray phase analysis, schemes of ex
traction equilibria in these systems were established, dissociation constants (Ка, HR), distribution constants
62

(KD HR) of reagents, quantitative characteristics o f extraction were determined.
Optimal conditions for quantitative extraction and selective separation and simultaneous concentra
tion o f metal ions have been established. On the basis o f the obtained solid extracts, a method for obtaining
comparison samples for RF and TC has been developed and the possibility o f their use for the preparation
o f standard samples that exclude the disadvantages of existing methods has been shown.
Methods have been developed for the determination o f a number of metal ions characterized by high
selectivity, sensitivity, which will selectively determine the minimum amounts (10-3 -10-5 mol/l) o f inorgan
ic impurities in the objects o f analysis.
