Sequence of tenses

D.S: Jack said: “I will stay at home” – Jek dedi:”Men uyda qolaman”
I.S: Jack said that he would stay at home – Jek uyda qolishini aytdi.
D.S: “We are going to the village” – they said – “Biz qishloqqa boryapmiz” – dedi ular
I.S: They said that they were going to the village – Ular qishloqqa boryotganliklarini aytishdi.
Rule 1: Gaplarni ko’chirma gapdan o’zlashtirma gapga aylantirganimizda, bosh gapning kesimi hozirgi va kelasi zamonda (Present Indefinite, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, Future Simple) bo’lsa, ergash gapning kesimi esa ko’chirma gapda qaysi zamon shaklida qo’llangan bo’lsa, shu zamonda o’zgarmasdan qoladi:
