The key to solving environmental problems is for the present generation to sacrifice their convenient lifestyle for the sake of future generations.
Tackling environmental issues creates an intergenerational dilemma, and this is why many environmentalists argue that the current generation should sacrifice their comfortable lifestyle to ensure that the planet is left in good condition for coming generations. I completely agree with this opinion because the present generation is increasing emissions of greenhouse gases so as to maintain a convenient way of life.
People today use many appliances to make life easier, causing harm to the environment. Appliances, like pressure cookers, refrigerators and freezers, are manufactured by using energy in form of electricity or natural gas. And electricity is produced by burning fossil fuels, which contributes to the increasing concentration of greenhouse gases; thereby melting glaciers, increasing temperatures, and deteriorating air and edible water quality. Besides, running these domestic appliances also causes environmental damage. For instance, residential electricity consumption, largely from household appliances, accounts for one-fourth of energy-related greenhouse gas emissions. Consequently, it seems clear that the coming generation may not have fresh air to breathe or clean drinking water to drink. Thus, the present generation has to compromise its convenient way of life to ensure a healthy environment for generations to come.
Furthermore, the mode of transport modern people use contributes to the rise of greenhouse gas emissions. Put simply, most people now use their private cars even for travelling a short distance because it is convenient and comfortable, and therefore causing harm to the environment. Each vehicle, for example, releases about 5.2 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is extremely harmful to the atmosphere. Likewise, the present generation uses a wide range of disposable products, such as paper towels and napkins, disposable diapers, cheap plasticware, plastic plates and utensils, for the sake of convenience. Consequently, producing all these non-durable goods generates greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
From what has been discussed above, we can draw the conclusion that the fight against environmental catastrophes is the present generation’s responsibility and only it will ensure a better and greener future for the coming generations.

The world is bedeviled with monstrous environmental hazards like global warming and a rise in seawater levels. Some think that the best solution to the problem is that the current generation should sacrifice their comforts for the benefit of future generations. I do not deny that lifestyle changes are necessary, but this does not mean that the present generation has to sacrifice their comforts. The lifestyle changes may be beneficial for the current generation in many ways. The lifestyle changes may not be onerous.
For example, the government has banned the use of plastics. Shop owners have resorted to paper and cloth bags instead. This move has not reduced the comfort of the current generation in any manner. There is a change in
Lifestyle with no reduction in the comfort level. Another initiative from the government is planting trees and policing paper use. People are advised to take double side print outs. This is a welcome initiative as trees help to purify the air, which is beneficial for the environment. It improves air quality, and the current generation can breathe fresh air. By minimizing paper use, we are avoiding unnecessary felling of trees. The government has also asked people to reduce the use of energy. It is a good practice to turn off the lights and unplug the chargers after use. Some electrical appliances are found to consume electricity even after being turned off. This is good for our pockets as well. Owning cars are indeed a symbol of an improved lifestyle. But we should become aware that we are emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which causes global warming and a rise in seawater levels. So, we should restrict the use of cars and use public transport as much as possible. This
is economical to the car owner as well because he would be saving money on fuel. Although it requires some effort from the current generation, they don’t cause discomfort in any manner.
To conclude, it is true that the current generation has to make lifestyle changes to reduce environmental issues. But I disagree that these changes have to reduce the comfort level of the current
generation. The truth is that the changes improve the standard of living of the current generation. They are creating a better world without making any compromise on their comforts.

Over the past years, environmental hazards have been on the surge and impacted life on earth detrimentally. It seems that the best workaround,
therefore, is to sacrifice luxurious living for the betterment of the descendants. The fact cannot be denied that lifestyle changes are necessary, however, my opinion differs from the thought that sacrifices are needed for the benefit of the future generation.
To begin with, changes in routine life may not be onerous. For instance, the
Use of plastics has been banned by the government. Due to this declaration, shopkeepers have resorted to paper and cloth bags instead. As a matter of fact, this initiative has changed the living with no reduction in the comfort level. Another announcement made by the governing body is to limit the cutting of trees and policing paper use. People are advised to avoid wastage of paper and take double side print outs. This step, apparently, will help to save green spaces which in turn would benefit the environment. Furthermore, the authority has also asked people to reduce the useof energy.
Firstly, switching off lights when not necessary and unplug the chargers after
use. It is a good practice to use energy resources limitedly. This will be advantageous for our pockets as well. Secondly, owning cars is considered indeed a symbol of high-standard status. But we should become aware that we are emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere with the high usage of vehicles. Nevertheless, the public is encouraged to travel through public transport and use cycles or pedestrian pathways for nearby places.
To conclude, these habitual modifications in day-to-day life would assist to decrease environmental issues. But, I deny the point that these substitutes would hamper the comfort level of the current generation. The truth is that the changes improve the standard of living of the current generation. They are creating a better world without making any compromise on their comforts.

There is a multitude of people who subscribe to the notion that by observing the behaviours of young children, we can predict their likelihood of becoming criminals in the future. However, it is believed that other external factors can also heavily influence children’s development and their mannerisms in adulthood.

Through various researches, scientists found that delinquents, in fact, share some personal traits in their childhood that can help foretell their criminality. Generally, these individuals were more aggressive and impulsive than their peers when they were kids. For these reasons, it is understandable why some people contend that learning about how one behaves as a child can help foresee their chance of committing crimes as an adult.
Nevertheless, compared to other extrinsic elements, such as upbringing and schooling, genetic characteristics appear to be less influential on children’s behaviours. It is no surprise that children who are raised in a healthy and educational environment often grow to be ethical citizens. On the contrary, most convicts have some extent of tragedy in their childhoods, such as parental divorce and family breakdown. Without their parents’ guidance and sufficient attention, kids lack the ability to judge right and wrong, a skill that is vital in a moral society. For that reason, it is necessary that adults need to monitor and control youngsters’ behaviours and undertake/take/implement any corrective measure when it is needed.
In the light of the aforementioned discussion, there is no point arguing whether there is a nexus between one’s genes and their behavioural patterns. However, it is strongly supported that when children receive good care and ethical education, it is unlikely that they will commit any unlawful activities in the future.

Nowadays, it is a common belief within the scientific field that a person’s potential to be a criminal can be determined in their childhood. However, I think that external factors are more pivotal to one’s development into criminal, and thus intensive care for children should be provided by the government and parents to raise ideal citizens.
Like other human qualities, most anti-social behaviours are acquired and the impact of inborn impulse is comparably minimal. Considering that for many people their personalities change throughout their life, it is obvious that interactions with others and experience take a huge part in the establishment of one’s disposition. And among all constituents of life, the biggest contributor to an individual’s criminality would be their home environment in earlier life. Since the home is where people spend most of their time as a child, it prominently shapes their morals and ethics. To illustrate, a child from a poor family may have a higher likelihood of burglary and theft than those with wealthy parents. As they grow up, impoverished children would continue to commit crimes, as illegal acts would settle in their lifestyle as a means to survive. Therefore, the criminal tendency is not ingrained but is cultivated throughout one’s life.
Since childhood is a significant phase of life that affects one’s development of mannerisms, measures should be taken to keep children mentally and physically fit. Governments should ensure that children are properly treated at their homes and provide help where needed. This can be done by dispatching inspectors to their homes to investigate any signs of poverty, abuse or other household problems and support those affected. On top of that, parents should be responsible for caring for their children and supporting them emotionally. As parents constitute a huge part of a child’s life, building a strong bond with their parents will result in children’s overall satisfaction with their life and a less likelihood to act against society in the long run.
In summary, one’s criminality ensues from extrinsic factors like upbringing, rather than their genes. Therefore, governments and families should invest in the quality life of children and foster a good household environment.

Scientists believe that by studying behavior of 3 years old children, we can predict if

that children can become criminal in the future. To what extend is crime a product
of human nature? Is it possible to stop children from growing to be a criminal?
In recent years, an increasing number of people has been concerning about the main
factors that result in children becoming a criminal in the future. While some individuals
believe that these inherited personalities of young children are the key to commit crime,
others think that the extrinsic elements influence children’s development and their
characteristics in adulthood.
On the one hand, certain evidence have emerged that the psychological seeds of a
criminal career can be seen before they even reach nursery school. Some toddlers are
already destined for a life of a crime and share certain personality traits, which can be
easily recognized in the early childhood. For example, they are often aggressive and
impulsive, and tend to have anti-social behaviors. These foretells that youngsters who are
born with innate characteristics or inherited personalities are likely to be charge for their
criminality.
On the other hand, a cause for crime stems from a lack of a moral compass, which is
often passed on from parents onto children at their early ages. The first one is a failure of
parental control that cannot help young children distinguish right from wrong; as a result,
kids are not aware of their attitudes and may have a tendency to adopt violent behaviors.
Moreover, poverty is a leading factor in causing people to commit crimes to make ends
meet. For instance, jobless people are likely to steal things in order to guarantee their
basic amenities.
To sum up, I believe that both external factors and internal elements have a significant
influence on children’s behaviors. It is highly recommended that people must not
underestimate the significant of their guidance and education for children
