The Life and work of Shakespeare.

3.Final years and death
There is a traditional view that Shakespeare moved to Stratford a few years
before his death. Rowe was the first Shakespeare biographer to make such an
opinion. One of the reasons may have been the repeated closures of London
community theatres due to the plague outbreak, with the actors not doing enough.
Full retirement was rare in those days, and Shakespeare continued to visit London.
In 1612, Shakespeare was a witness in the case against Bellot Mountjoy. Mountjoy's
daughter Mary's wedding sepi lawsuit. In March 1613 he bought a house in the
former Blackfriar church.In November 1614 he spent several weeks with his son-in-
law John Hall.

After 1606-1607 Shakespeare wrote only a few plays, and after 1613 he stopped
writing them altogether. He wrote his last three plays with another playwright,
probably John Fletcher, 47 who became the Chief dramatist of the King's men after
Shakespeare.Sankt-Peterburgdagi Shekspir byusti. Stratforddagi Trinity.
Shakespeare's saga written on his will
All of Shakespeare's surviving signatures in
documents (1612-1613) are marked by very poor
handwriting, on the basis of which some
researchers believe he was seriously ill at the time.
Shakespeare died on 23 April (3 may) 1616.
According to tradition, he is believed to have died
on his birthday, but it is not clear whether
Shakespeare was born on 23 April. Shakespeare
was survived by a widow (died 1623) and two
daughters. Susan Shakespeare had been married to
John Hall since 1607, and Judith Shakespeare
married winemaker Thomas Queenie two months after Shakespeare's death.
According to His Will, Shakespeare left a large part of his real estate to his
eldest daughter Susan. It was to be inherited by his immediate descendants after him.
Judith had three children, all of whom died unmarried. Susan had one daughter,
Elizabeth, whom he married twice, but died childless in 1670. He became the last
direct descendant of Shakespeare. Shakespeare's will only mentions his wife in the
past, but she already had to take a third of her husband's estate. However, it was
shown that he was abandoning" my second best bed", which caused many different
speculation. Some scholars consider this to be an insult to Ann, while others argue
that the second best bed is a marriage bed, and therefore there is nothing offensive
about it.

Three days later, Shakespeare's body was buried in the Stratford Church of the
Holy Trinity. An epitaph is inscribed on his tombstone:
Good friend for Iesvs, forgive,
dvst to dig closed headphones.
Be bright, do not spare stones,
And it moves my bones.
My friend, for the Lord, the gathering
Remains taken by this land;
Blessed through the ages,
Curse that touched my smile. (A. Velichansky translation)
A painted bust of Shakespeare was installed in the church sometime before
1623, showing it in the writing process. Epitaphs in English and Latin compare
Shakespeare with the wise Pilos King Nestor, Socrates, and Virgil.
There are many Shakespearean statues around the world, including Southwark
Cathedral and Poets ' Corner, and funerary monuments in Westminster Abbey.
To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the playwright's death, the Royal Mint
issued three two-pound coins symbolizing three groups of his works: comedies,
Chronicles and tragedies.
