Interactive Print for Storytelling
8.0
The art field can use the WebAR O2O approach to bring works to life and enrich
the visitors’ experience while in a museum, art gallery, or art installation; with
WebAR, it is possible to tell background stories about the artist, showcase
comparisons, or even offer NFTs and Metaverse experiences within the
artwork.
Artrust created engaging, innovative WebAR experiences that bring artworks
to life on the occasion of the Maroggia Triennial Exhibition, an art exhibition
project dedicated to Street Art.
In such a context, Artrust offered visitors and potential buyers the opportunity
to see and animate artworks with WebAR on their smartphones simply by
scanning the catalog or the works during the exhibition.
This allowed artists and curators to showcase works in a new and engaging
way and enable visitors to live an immersive experience before, during, and
after the event.

Virtual Try-On for CRO
9.0
Amazon also jumped on the AR bandwagon, launching a new feature called
Virtual Try-On for Shoes that will allow customers to visualize how a pair
of shoes will look on themselves from multiple angles, simply using their
smartphone’s camera.
The feature can help brands showcase their products better while informing
customers’ purchasing decisions and collecting valuable data and insights
about their habits and preferences.
The new AR try-on feature for shoes will launch in the U.S. and Canada in the
Amazon shopping app on iOS - featuring traditional AR and not WebAR. To use
the feature, customers need to tap on the new “Virtual Try-On” button below
the product image to virtually try the shoes of their choice, among brands like
New Balance, Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Saucony, Lacoste, Asics, and Superga.
Customers simply need to point their camera at their feet to try on the shoes,
